Position Overview:

The Patient Service Manager is accountable for overseeing the non-clinical functions of daily operations within a healthcare facility and its various divisions. This role involves effective communication with department leaders, ensuring that critical information and policy updates from senior management are conveyed to enhance team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, data management, and cash handling.

2. Oversee the performance of all office personnel to guarantee productivity and adherence to company standards.

3. Coordinate daily operational activities.

4. Provide guidance to employees facing challenges in their roles.

5. Report on office performance to senior management and collaborate on enhancing operational procedures.

6. Foster a culture of exceptional customer service.

7. Develop, implement, and uphold office policies and procedures.

8. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of a high-performing medical office team, and conduct performance evaluations.

9. Ensure patient satisfaction by addressing complaints and implementing process improvements to mitigate future issues.

10. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other relevant regulations.
