Assistant General Manager

Fever is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead and manage the operations of a large-scale, immersive outdoor experience in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. This is a full-time, seasonal position that will run from mid-October 2024 to mid-March 2025.
Responsibilities- On-site management and operations of the experience, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue.
- Filling in for the General Manager in times of absence, making executive decisions, and providing accountability.
- Following the process for a smooth daily run of the experience and continuous maintenance of the experience standards.
- Managing and reporting staff payroll, building out staff schedules, and managing the booking portal for creating the schedule.
- Creating procedures and overseeing parking operations, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue.
- Handling guestlist and assisting with guests check-in procedures, as well as managing a coordinated system for storage and handling of stock.
- Training additional members and managing suppliers when needed, handling any problems or special requests with guests.
- Communicating and coordinating with venue staff and leadership daily, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue.
- Working alongside Fever's Executive Producer and Production Manager to ensure the continued quality of the show for the entirety of the run.
The contract will be for 5 months, starting in mid-October and running to the end of March 2025. The experience will be open four days a week (Thursday - Sunday) from 5pm-10pm, with several weeks of seven day operations and holidays. The schedule will vary based on ticket sales.
Requirements- 3+ years of previous experience in a management position for an experiential pop-up event, amusement park, or hospitality establishment with high foot traffic.
- Highly motivated and with a high energy profile, able to work autonomously and at your initiative.
- Strong leader used to engaging with the public and managing staff, with excellent communication skills.
- Able to plan your own time appropriately to maximize business performance, and legally allowed to work in the US.
- Based in the Greater Los Angeles area.
