Assistant General Manager Job Description

  • Assist the General Manager in leading the hotel team to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Monitor and adjust room availability status to optimize revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage cash handling, banking, and accounting duties to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain effective guest relations through timely and knowledgeable responses to guest inquiries.
  • Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources to enhance department communications and operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years hotel experience as Front Desk Agent/Supervisor or progressive front desk responsibility.
  • Cash registers, computers, and calculators required.
  • Current valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.
