Job DescriptionJob Overview:This role oversees financial operations for a manufacturing plant with approximately $80M in sales and 240 employees. Serving eight strategic business units with around 25,000 SKU's, the Plant Financial Operations Manager provides operational financial reports and analyses to support plant and divisional management. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to corporate financial procedures, implementing internal controls, and collaborating with management to improve profitability and working capital.

Principal End Results:
Plan, organize, and control all accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, credit and collection, and local tax activities in line with corporate policies.
Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of financial transactions, identifying trends and issues for management attention.
Participate in budget and business plan preparation, offering financial evaluation and interpretation.
Oversee operating and capital budgets, analyzing performance against targets.
Administer corporate credit, collection, and tax policies.
Provide financial performance information and guidance to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis, Budget & Recurring Reporting (50%): Manage and summarize periodic financial analysis for operational management. Prepare and review financial analysis reports, including sales, cost of sales, margins, manufacturing variances, and operational KPIs. Focus on accuracy and timeliness of manufacturing variances.
Continuous Improvement (20%): Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance cost competitiveness and agility. Provide leadership in WCM programs and daily operations reviews.
Management of Teams (20%): Lead, manage, and develop finance and purchasing teams.
Compliance & Management of Financial/Accounting Systems (10%): Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and local regulations. Maintain strong internal controls for asset and liability management. Manage financial and accounting systems for accurate performance reporting.
