We provide customers with ongoing training and support to identify and meet their needs. We have expertise and specialist knowledge, and processes to identify and correct areas for improvement to strive for efficient and excellent work every time.
Responsibilities- Design and Analysis
- Assist with design for assigned projects, including HVAC temperature control systems, lighting and access controls systems, and wire drawings and floor plan markups.
- Focus on design to add or improve energy conservation.
- Design BAS systems for HVAC, lighting, and access control systems using the Delta Controls platform.
- Estimation and Budgeting
- Assist with cost estimates for control systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC systems.
- Design/build budgeting.
- Energy utilization conservation calculations.
- Communication and Training
- Work with customers to collect key information needed to ensure the finished design meets their needs.
- Help customers understand options and benefits from the finished systems.
- Participate in meetings with account managers on construction estimates and proposal writing.
- Regularly update your manager on progress, concerns, and encumbrances.
- Training and Development
- Study and use internal resources, including training materials, previously created designs, and vendor training classes and materials.
- Gain or maintain expert knowledge of the Delta product line and equipment, including BACnet protocols and associated controls devices.
- Collaborate with expert coworkers and managers on increasingly complex and challenging projects.
- BS in mechanical engineering or 2+ years' experience in building control systems and/or equivalent HVAC knowledge.
- Introductory knowledge of DDC, electric, and pneumatic control systems.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
- Preferred Credentials: LEED GA/AP, CEM, PE, and association with ASHRAE.
- On-site position with offices in Littleton and Colorado Springs.
