Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Specialist to join our team at ncgCARE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing authorization-related issues, ensuring timely paperwork and clinical documentation submission, and maintaining a standardized and efficient referral process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Authorization Monitoring: Submit initial authorizations and monitor existing authorizations via Electronic Health Record reporting and payer portals to ensure service coverage for reimbursement.
  • Referral Management: Process all incoming agency referrals and ensure accurate information is associated with each client entry, including assisting clients in scheduling intake appointments.
  • Staff Support: Provide support to staff concerning authorization-related issues, including communicating with direct care staff and leadership to ensure all appropriate paperwork and clinical documentation is submitted promptly.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain referral tracking and manage referral data, client information, and other relevant information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Mental Health and QMHP certification preferred.
