Your Role
As a Territory Sales Representative at La Nacional, you will play a crucial role in executing established business growth strategies and objectives to drive volume through new and existing customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Generating New Revenue: You will be responsible for generating new revenue sales by zip code, including prospecting and adding new business in underserved zip codes through in-person sales to small to mid-size local businesses.
- Increasing Existing Customer Base Profit: You will focus on increasing the profit of our existing customer base by identifying opportunities for growth and implementing strategies to achieve this goal.
- Creating and Following Sales Routes: You will create and follow weekly sales routes/plans to maximize district efficiencies, calling on at least 50 retailers per week.
- Delivering Product Presentations: You will deliver product presentations by demonstrating our industry-leading suite of products and money transfer services to potential customers.
- Improving Agent Relationships: You will proactively manage all prospect data in our CRM system and collaborate with agents to improve relationships and exceed their expectations.
- Collaborating Cross-Functionally: You will work with cross-functional teams to leverage cross-selling opportunities and maximize product offerings and profit.
- Meeting Key Performance Indicators: You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding key performance indicators, including sales call activity, wire sales targets, agent activation targets, and gross margin sales targets.
Your Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bilingual Spanish: You must be fluent in Spanish to communicate effectively with our customers and agents.
- Proven Sales Experience: You must have a minimum of 4 years of proven B2B, SMB territory sales experience.
- Industry Experience: You must have experience working in the retail network, supermarkets, or money transfer industry. Similar experiences, such as prepaid card services experience, may be considered based on experience and network.
- Multicultural Experience: You must have multicultural experience, with a preference for experience in Mexico and Guatemala.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and agents.
- Technical Skills: You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have your own vehicle and car insurance.
- Driving Requirements: You must be willing to drive 50-90% of the time.
