We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Marion County. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment services to individuals and families, including groups, and crisis intervention services as required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services
- Complete intake mental health assessments, including screening for alcohol and drug issues
- Develop and implement individual service plans
- Provide case management and outreach services to clients
- Assist clients and families with developing skills to access community supports/resources and to advocate for themselves
- Participate in individual service plan development in collaboration with the treatment team and other community providers
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a behavioral science field, or a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon. Additionally, you must have at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
Preferred QualificationsPreference will be awarded to candidates who are Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Social Worker Associate (CSWA), or eligible for LCSW licensure. Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
Working ConditionsThis is a safety-sensitive/special needs position. Final candidates selected for this position will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for marijuana.
BenefitsMarion County offers a generous benefits package to regular employees working 50% or more of the regularly scheduled work week and their eligible dependents. Temporary employees and part-time regular employees working less than 50% of the regularly scheduled work week are not eligible for benefits.
