Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Marion County is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide assessment and treatment services to individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavioral health services to individuals in the community, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
  • Document all services provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of postgraduate experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
  • Credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
