Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Automation and Control Strategies Group, INC. dba ACS Profession. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing substation equipment, including power circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and effective communication skills. They will be responsible for conducting equipment verification tests, assisting in the design and maintenance of electrical systems, and providing technical support during installations and troubleshooting.
This is a full-time position located in Vancouver, WA. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities- Conduct equipment verification tests on substation equipment, including power circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Provide technical support during installations and troubleshooting.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.
- Gather information for reports and calculations to support engineering solutions.
- Assist with coordinating construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction and installation standards and specifications.
- Assist with inspection of completed installations and verification of operations.
- Perform troubleshooting and provide on-site technical support to craft/customer personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and effective communication skills.
- Experience with computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
