Job Title: Sales Associate for Retail Solutions

Duration: 5 Months

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Shift Schedule: Flexible to work 8-hour shifts Monday through Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm as per eastern zone (5 days and 40 hours per week)

Note: Need 1 Spanish Candidate

Job Overview

The Retail Centers are essential in achieving our market segment goals to provide an exceptional customer experience, enhance membership value, increase market share, and ensure profitable growth. Sales Associates play a vital role in meeting sales, renewal, retention, and community engagement objectives. This position requires demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and competencies of a high-performing sales professional by effectively consulting with potential and existing customers to achieve sales targets, managing leads efficiently to boost close rates and retention, maintaining expert-level product knowledge, utilizing various systems and technologies for maximum effectiveness, and employing networking and business development strategies within the community to foster awareness and future opportunities. Adaptability to change is crucial to thrive in this dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations
  • Deliver a consultative sales and service experience for customers seeking information on available products that support health, wellness, and income protection.
  • Utilize web-based tools and sales systems to assess prospective customer needs and align them with suitable company products and services.
  • Conduct comparative analysis for new or existing members exploring new solutions.
  • Present and clarify recommended products, benefits, features, and alternatives.
  • Ensure new customers receive comprehensive orientations regarding self-service and shopping tools, incentives, and value-added features.
  • Promote additional services available through center clinicians and service consultants.
  • Cross-sell multiple product sets to enhance value for members and the organization.
  • Engage with customers through face-to-face, telephonic, and electronic methods to respond to inquiries, quotes, and sales processing.
  • Consistently meet or exceed production targets, effectiveness metrics, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Generate and act on leads for new sales and member retention.
  • Utilize lead management tools for daily outbound calls and lead management tactics to drive sales.
  • Perform outbound call campaigns targeting company-generated sales leads.
  • Identify and reach out to at-risk customers; develop and implement retention strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Set appointments for sales and member retention visits through various outreach campaigns.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with previous customers to drive retention and loyalty.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to effectively track and record outcomes of work efforts.
  • Facilitate enrollment or educational meetings with prospective or existing customers within the retail center and community settings.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of targeted groups' products, services, and features.
  • Conduct formal and informal sessions, individually or in small groups, providing information and answering questions to ensure customers comprehend products, benefits, and tools.
  • Track and report enrollment support activities and outcomes.
Community Engagement + Business Development
  • Develop and execute a personal business development plan, including internal and external community engagement tactics to support individual and team goals.
  • Engage in local grassroots marketing, networking, event activation, and relationship building outside of the center to drive growth and advance the company mission.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key constituents, organizations, and networking groups to enhance community awareness of center services.
  • Travel to employer groups to provide onsite enrollment assistance to individuals requiring individual coverage.
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets for community engagement efforts and effectively track and measure the impact to refine future plans.
  • Support Field Marketing, Local Market Presence, and Foundation initiatives to enhance brand awareness and market share for the organization.
Center Operations
  • Assist with special events and projects (e.g., seminars, appearances, promotional events, clinical programs) for the general public in the Retail Center.
  • Ensure all customers (walk-in, telephonic, or electronic) are warmly greeted, their needs are assessed promptly, and they are referred to the appropriate resources.
  • Host Customer Video Appointments.
  • Consistently adhere to standard procedures to track key visitor information to support ongoing operational analysis and improvements.
  • Provide informational tours to individuals or small groups explaining the value of the retail center to the community.
  • Foster a team atmosphere where company values are exemplified daily while working towards fulfilling the enterprise mission.
Experience Requirements
  • 0-1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education.
Education and Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • State of Florida 2-15/2-40 license.
Additional Required Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and web-based tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with health insurance products, including individual and group plans.
  • Experience in outside sales and/or business development.
  • Experience in networking, public speaking, and relationship management.
  • Bilingual - Read/Write/Speak - Spanish.
