The Presales Solutions Specialist will work alongside Architects and Engineers as a security expert supporting account teams, customers, and go-to-market initiatives.

The Solutions Specialist will take a consultative approach and lead discussions with clients regarding security platforms, understand how technology enables business, and recognize opportunities for the company.

This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities include Account retention and penetrating multiple lines of Cyber Security business in existing accounts by supporting the Account Executive with their customers' Security opportunities.

Driving the security solution sales process, including qualifying the opportunity, forecasting, decision-making criteria, and closing.

Learning company service offerings in all security service areas by self-study, acquiring certifications, partner training, and company-sponsored training.

Developing relationships with the Local Technology Community (MFGs and SI Partners), and the appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.

Staying current on new technology, trends, and market behavior in the security space.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.

~4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity cloud.

Ability to speak to the different security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint, email, and identity with customers and identify customer security challenges to determine potential security solutions.

High-quality writing skills needed to produce reports, track metrics, manage projects, and create technical documentation.

Candidate should have or will work towards certifications with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Mimecast, Okta, and others as needed for expertise around firewall/network security, endpoint, email, identity, and other security technologies.

Business travel required up to 20% for customer meetings, internal meetings or engagements, travel to customer or partner sites, conferences, and SHI offices.

Approved Min (Total Target Comp) USD $70,000. Approved Max (Total Target Comp) USD $170,000. Compensation Structure Base Plus Bonus.
