Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop switching amplifiers and power supplies from the ground up, with a focus on high-power applications.
- Magnetics Design: Design and specify magnetics from scratch, with a deep understanding of various topologies including H-bridge, Flyback, Resonant, Buck, Boost, etc.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot mixed signal circuits to the component level, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to both internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Documentation: Document and maintain detailed development and test data, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience designing switching power supplies or amplifiers.
- Skills: Proven track record of designing high-power switching amplifiers and power supplies, expertise in magnetics design, and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Software and Tools: Proficiency in simulation software (LT Spice and Matlab), schematic capture (OrCad/Allegro), and magnetics design.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
