Job Title: Packaging Technician

PharmaCann LLC is seeking a skilled Packaging Technician to join our team. As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for executing daily tasks within the Packaging department with accuracy and efficiency to achieve weekly objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Lead and Supervisor of Packaging to package dried cannabis product accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate equipment and machinery to package dried cannabis product as instructed and trained, ensuring safety and quality.
  • Execute objectives to achieve desired quality and consistency throughout assignments.
  • Organize and report data entries to spreadsheets and logs as instructed, ensuring accuracy and legibility.
  • Meet daily quotas and maintain productivity while working in a fast-paced environment.
Training and Development:
  • Follow direction and training by Supervisors of Packaging and Manager of Packaging assigned to the Olyphant, PA cultivation facility.
  • Engage in proactive participation to achieve high standard cultivation practices consistently and compliantly.
  • Understand how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on state laws and regulations.
Workspace and Material Maintenance:
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment.
  • Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas.
  • Follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs after use of equipment or supply.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Perform final packaging checks to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant.
  • Follow company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.
  • Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
  • Follow instructed procedures to maintain compliance and safety.
Supervision:
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Supervisors of Packaging and Manager of Packaging.
Job Requirements:
  • Be available as needed to adhere to responsibilities within and throughout the job description.
  • Be eligible for the position based on state and federal laws and regulations.
Working Conditions:
  • Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, and warehouse environment.
  • Working in proper PPE at all times of scheduled shift to sustain GMP model certification.
  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Job Qualifications:
  • Preferred 3 months employment with the company to apply.
  • Preferred commercial cannabis and/or packaging experience for 1 year.
  • One year of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment preferred.
  • Demonstrates ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements.
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others.
  • Ability to create, utilize, and modify electronic documents.
