Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

Hunter Truck is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform unsupervised advanced maintenance and repairs on all truck systems
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck systems
  • Assist other technicians with major repairs and provide guidance on complex issues
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts and ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational technical school training or equivalent experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment and possess excellent communication skills
