Millenniumsoft is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of software development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the software development team to stakeholders and manage the software teams' agile SDLC processes.
- Gather requirements and work closely with the Director of Software Development.
- Communicate and meet directly with stakeholders to understand business objectives.
- Perform acceptance to verify the work completed meets the ask.
- Prioritize needs and juggle scope, business needs, and estimations to prioritize work items.
- Manage the product backlog, write stories for the backlog, and prioritize stories based on business strategy and feedback from stakeholders and management.
- Identify dependencies across stories, oversee development SDLC stages, and schedule planning and activation of sprints, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Plan releases, anticipate client needs, and understand the business to manage the development process.
- Act as a primary liaison, gain buy-in from stakeholders, and deliver clear instructions to the software developers.
- Communicate and convert requirements into user stories, resolve blockers, and get answers when developers have questions.
- Evaluate product progress, inspect, evaluate, and report on progress through each iteration, and determine whether the work completed is acceptable.
- Evaluate Service Now tickets, ensure all members of the development team are logging hours against their work appropriately, and put together and distribute release notes and training materials in advance of a publish.
- Excellent analytical and communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of individuals.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks. Well organized and proactive.
- Proficient with MS Windows applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
- Experience working in complex enterprise software environments.
- Nice to have experience in agile methodology environments, working in Jira and Confluence, and agile-Scrum and/or Project Management certifications.
- Working in global healthcare or similar fields.
