Job Description:About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at ProCare Highland Park Emergency. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be the first point of contact for patients and families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth registration process.

  • You will greet patients and obtain accurate demographic and insurance information for registration.
  • You will work closely with clinical staff to ensure each patient receives the highest level of customer service and respect.
Responsibilities:
  1. Demonstrate Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with individuals and groups of various backgrounds and educational levels in high-stress situations.
  2. Manage Multiple Priorities: Manage multiple, changing priorities in an effective and organized manner, under stressful demands while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  3. Registration and Data Management: Obtain complete and accurate demographic, insurance, and financial data to complete registration. Update and maintain patient database according to established procedures.
  4. Daily Transaction Paperwork: Complete and balance all daily transaction paperwork.
  5. Team Collaboration: Maintain an open line of communication with all team members.
