About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients with psychiatric needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • At least one year of experience in medical or psychiatric nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems
