Overview

The Electrical Technician Trainee plays a crucial role in adhering to safety protocols and is expected to have prior experience in an industrial construction setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with various tasks that involve the manual handling of materials, tools, and equipment, utilizing both hand and power tools.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the work area and performs safety-related tasks.
  • Engages with team members regarding the initiation of maintenance activities.
  • Follows additional job-related instructions and performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Works in operational facilities while observing and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducts wire pulling tasks.
  • Completes other assigned responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
  • 6-47 months of experience in the electrical construction sector.
Safety Protocols
  • Consistently promotes awareness of environmental, health, and safety policies to maintain a secure working environment and ensure compliance with all company regulations.
  • Must successfully pass a drug test as required by company and regulatory standards.
  • Completion of Saulsbury Industries safety training is mandatory.
  • Participation in safety meetings and specialized training as directed by management.
  • Engagement in various training sessions as assigned by management.
  • Ability to take necessary safety precautions while performing job duties.
  • Possession of Fire Resistant Clothing (FRC) is required.
  • Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance.
Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity and coordination are essential.

Ability to perceive depth and see clearly at a distance.

Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet without resting.

Capacity to maintain balance in narrow workspaces.

Ability to stand for extended periods and reach overhead while seated or standing.

Ability to stoop or kneel as required.

Willingness to work 60 or more hours weekly and at heights of at least 20 feet.

Work Environment

Employees in this role must be able to work under various conditions, including:

- Confined or awkward workspaces
- Elevated areas
- Outdoor settings
- Noisy environments
- Unclean surroundings
- Exposure to air contaminants (dust, fumes, etc.)
- Cold temperatures
