Electrical Systems Technician

Worlds of Fun is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to maintain and repair the electrical systems throughout the park. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, facility electrical systems, and other electrical components.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical components of park rides and equipment, including lighting.
  • Perform general electrical work, including changing transformers, running conduit, and pulling wire.
  • Select materials necessary for the work and make standard shop computations.
  • Work with varying voltages up to and including 13,000 volts.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, charts, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Identify electrical wires by color.
  • Work from ladders, lifts, and platforms.
  • Pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree (2-year College or Tech School)
  • 3 - 5 Years Related Experience
  • At Least 18 Years of Age
  • Valid state Driver's License

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
