We are seeking a meticulous mortgage lending support specialist to enhance our operations. This role is essential in fostering communication with referrals, existing and former clients, real estate professionals, lenders, and underwriters to strengthen relationships and generate new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include facilitating the completion of real estate loan applications, gathering, assessing, and reviewing necessary loan documentation in line with established loan guidelines, and providing assistance throughout the loan application journey.
Compensation:$18 - $22 hourly
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all loan package documents are accurate and report any discrepancies to the loan officer or originator.
- Address all customer and internal inquiries regarding transactions to ensure a seamless process and exceptional service.
- Organize and prepare documentation required for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork.
- Provide administrative assistance such as managing calls, scheduling appointments, and other related tasks.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and our organization, scheduling and conducting meetings to address follow-up issues or concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree in finance or banking is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications is essential, including MS Office; familiarity with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software is advantageous.
- Preferred experience of 2-3 years in an administrative support role within a professional office or mortgage setting.
- An NMLS license or training is not mandatory but is considered a plus.
- A solid understanding of various loan products, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed-rate loans, and commercial loans is desirable.
