We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Accounts Payable to join our Finance team at Worldpay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable function, including corporate card program and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement a robust framework for Accounts Payable, including processes for vendor setup and maintenance, expense management, and credit card administration.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team of Accounts Payable professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, IT, and Finance, to drive process improvements and optimize the Procure-to-Pay process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal customers, and external partners.
- Provide analytical and statistical research to support business decisions, including monthly KPI reporting and performance metrics.
- Assist in the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- 10+ years of experience in a global Accounts Payable team, with a strong background in corporate card program and vendor management.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and the Procure-to-Pay process.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to diffuse contentious situations with suppliers and internal customers.
- Strong analytical and statistical research skills, with the ability to provide analysis and commentary on monthly analytic files.
- Experience with the accounting close cycle and how the Procure-to-Pay process impacts financial statements.
- Internal/external audit experience.
