Position Summary

As a Client Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional experience for our clients by serving as a knowledgeable resource and providing assistance throughout their journey with CarMax. Your efforts will contribute to our reputation as the leading retailer of pre-owned vehicles, built on principles of honesty and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding client service by guiding customers through the entire process, from vehicle sales to appraisals, test drives, and financing arrangements.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle conditions, gathering and communicating essential information to facilitate accurate appraisals.
  • Manage the intake and processing of vehicles received, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and reconciliation.
  • Perform cosmetic evaluations to guarantee that all vehicles adhere to CarMax's quality standards.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including generating daily reports, maintaining transaction documentation, liaising with finance institutions regarding client contracts, and ensuring compliance with registration and titling requirements.
  • Schedule service appointments and review repair order invoices for accuracy in billing.

Role Purpose

You will handle a variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision, including vehicle sales, processing documentation, assessing vehicle conditions for appraisals, and managing repair orders. Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales and customer service, particularly in retail, is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
