Position Overview

We are looking for a part-time Classroom Support Specialist to assist in grades 1 through 6 within a classical and Catholic educational environment for a commitment of 12 hours each week throughout the academic year. This role is based in a nurturing educational center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support classroom activities and student engagement in a Catholic context.
  • Assist with the implementation of curriculum and classroom management strategies.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance instructional skills.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will not require a teaching certification or prior formal teaching experience. However, experience in homeschooling, ministry work within a Catholic parish, or involvement in teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes is beneficial. A strong commitment to the Catholic faith and the ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church is essential.

Working Environment

This position is in-person and requires attendance on specified days. Complimentary childcare is available for staff. All personnel will undergo a background check and complete necessary training prior to engaging with students.
