The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data visualization and be able to develop and deploy novel visualizations, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop user-centered data visualization models.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and deploying data visualizations for the UVA health system to meet business requirements
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop user-centered data visualization models
  • Creating Tableau dashboards and reports for healthcare providers and clinical staff members to inform data-driven decisions
  • Interacting with leadership to understand objectives, formulate metrics, and gather data requirements
  • Analyzing data, identifying patterns and trends, and presenting findings in the form of data visualization to inform leadership decisions

Remote work from home is allowed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Three (3) years of experience as an Engineer Senior, Data Visualization Designer, or in a related occupation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job occasionally requires traveling to attend meetings and programs.
