Job Title: VA Liaison Coordinator

At Senior Helpers - Greater Dallas, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate VA Liaison Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The VA Liaison Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting Veterans to our services by providing assistance and information.

This involves reaching out to communities, individuals, and the VA to build brand awareness and reach potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect with Veterans regarding home care services.
  • Develop and implement personalized service plans in collaboration with Veterans, ensuring alignment with their goals and needs.
  • Serve as an advocate for Veterans in accessing benefits and services.
  • Build relationships with case departments and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and service plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other Veteran professionals, including healthcare providers and community organizations.

Qualifications:

  • A 2-3 years of experience as a case manager or social worker in a veterans hospital or clinic.
  • Or 3-5 years of experience in case management and social work in marginalized communities.
  • A strong personality with a vast knowledge of Veteran Benefits.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass background checks as required.
