We are seeking a highly skilled Accreditation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements in assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, integrate, and monitor accreditation activities and initiatives in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collect data and develop compliance documents/evidence for successful accreditation surveys.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance evidence.
  • Educate staff across the organization regarding accreditation standards and requirements.
  • Evaluate current practices and identify compliance gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare training materials, reports, and materials to support compliance.
  • Coordinate accreditation surveys.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in a managed care environment or 6 years of work experience in a managed care environment.
  • 2 years of accreditation experience (e.g., NCQA, URAC, Joint Commission, CMS) to include managing survey/review experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and legislative processes and experience reading and interpreting legislation.
  • Experience using Total Quality Management (TQM)/Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) concepts.
  • Knowledge or experience reviewing accreditation standards and evaluating level of compliance, identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Knowledge or experience monitoring compliance and managing evidence documents.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including training skills.
  • Research skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Experience managing multiple complex priorities, often with limited time frames.
  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills, with experience meeting deadlines on time.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management (PMP) certification.
  • Audit experience.
