Label Production Specialist

Vestcom, a leading provider of technology-driven shelf-edge solutions, is seeking a skilled Label Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating label machines, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Label Machines: Safely and efficiently operate label machines to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Minimize Waste: Implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize raw material usage.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate production issues and concerns to supervisors and management in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks to ensure label machines are in good working condition.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and supplies.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure high-quality label production.
- Logistics and Distribution: Assist with distribution functions as needed to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience and/or training in label production or related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience operating digital inkjet presses and strong mechanical and computer aptitude required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and excellent communication skills required.
- Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow all safety protocols and procedures.
