Job Title: Part-Time Child Psychiatry Physician

The University of Virginia Department of Psychiatry is seeking a part-time Child Psychiatry Physician to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with a wide range of psychiatric disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and integrate mental health services with other medical disciplines.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and respect for all patients, staff, and students.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical care, teaching, and research in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading a team and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in healthcare.
  • Experience in academic settings is highly preferred.
