The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified Child Neurologist to join our team as an Assistant Professor. This is a tenure-eligible position that requires a strong interest in academic medicine and a commitment to excellence in research and clinical care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in research and academic activities, including scholarship and publication
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to advance the department's mission and goals
Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, DO, or equivalent terminal degree, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology. Specialized fellowship training in a related field is strongly preferred. Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
