Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patients through the clinic.
- Verify patient information, update records, and complete pre-visit planning to ensure accurate billing and patient care.
- Collect co-pays and payments, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Perform administrative duties, maintaining a clutter-free and organized front office environment.
- Make outbound calls to schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed.
- Meet or exceed established service standards, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems, preferably Athenahealth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive salary range of $19-$23 per hour.
