About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patients through the clinic.
  3. Verify patient information, update records, and complete pre-visit planning to ensure accurate billing and patient care.
  4. Collect co-pays and payments, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  5. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  6. Perform administrative duties, maintaining a clutter-free and organized front office environment.
  7. Make outbound calls to schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed.
  8. Meet or exceed established service standards, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems, preferably Athenahealth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
