Job Title: Sr. RegulatoryJob Summary

GNC is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Regulatory to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory affairs team, you will be responsible for evaluating and supporting registration requirements for global product registration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage product registration globally, including requesting, procuring, processing, and preparing documentation, documenting and tracking progress of new registrations and re-registrations in each market.
  • Ensure timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users.
  • Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation to ensure fast retrieval of documents.
  • Identify regulatory requirements for potential new markets and stay current with regulatory requirements for existing markets.
  • Build and foster strong working relationships with departments within and outside GNC, including franchisees, government agencies, and manufacturing partners.
  • Facilitate the exchange of documents and technical conversations to support registration.
  • Keep ahead of regulatory changes or proposed changes that may impact product formulation, product manufacture, and/or product registration.
  • Represent GNC at regulatory meetings/conferences as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Biology) or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs.
  • Ability to understand product registration documentation.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Strong self-starter with interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
