Job Summary

The Billing Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely billing of services provided by Telecare Corporation. This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and enter billing data into County IRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Reconcile data between Caminar and County IRIS to ensure all services have been billed correctly and within required timeframes.
  • Perform computer interface uploads of data to the Corporate office.
  • Update Health Benefit eligibility verification for all members served on a monthly basis.
  • Assist the Business Office Manager with payroll preparation, accounts payable, and invoice research.
  • Verify benefit status on new members served.
Requirements
  • One year of general office experience.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities, and function as a self-starter.
  • CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires driving a personal vehicle for company business, such as trainings and offsite meetings. A valid driver's license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required.
