Job Summary

At Dignity Health, we are seeking a skilled Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team at the Big Horn Clinic in Elk Grove, CA. As a key member of our Occupational Medicine Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to patients with work-related injuries and illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, including work-related injuries and illnesses
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to ensure prompt return to work and closure of cases
• Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to identify potential health risks and develop prevention strategies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to coding and billing regulations
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted California medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
• Experience in worker compensation services and specific note reporting, PR-2/PR-4s, etc.
• DOT Certification
