Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Regional Operations Manager to oversee the operational functions of our Sales and Service Centers within a designated area. This role is crucial in ensuring that our centers operate efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the operations of Sales and Service Centers, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.
- Collaborate with center managers to meet performance objectives and adhere to operational standards.
- Manage critical areas including Invoice Accuracy, Inventory Management, Safety, and Pricing Administration.
- Conduct training sessions for center associates on various operational procedures and compliance standards.
- Perform semi-annual audits of Sales and Service Centers to assess operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Lead the annual Physical Inventory Process for the region.
- Oversee projects related to new construction, renovations, or relocations of centers, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.
- Act as a liaison between corporate departments and Sales and Service Centers, supporting corporate goals and initiatives.
- Provide regular feedback and reports to senior management regarding operational performance and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement safety programs and training materials to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in managing operations within the tile or durable consumer products industry.
Competencies
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data effectively, and project management capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.
