Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, organize, and assess information from diverse sources to provide guidance to students, parents, and the public regarding college-wide activities, courses, programs, and services.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for the college, evaluate student inquiries, determine solutions, and guide students through appropriate action steps.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of college programs, services, and activities, particularly those associated with student onboarding and enrollment.
  • Support students throughout the onboarding and enrollment processes, including admissions, assessment/placement requirements, advising, enrollment, and financial aid.
  • Assist students in navigating the College website and all functionalities of the student portal.
  • Proactively identify and define student challenges, troubleshoot issues, and offer recommendations to enhance organizational performance.
  • Represent the unit in meetings as assigned.
  • Conduct data entry and analysis, and engage in student outreach initiatives, such as calling campaigns.
  • Review and process requests related to holds and credit hour limits, ensuring information security and accuracy.
  • Coordinate and record incoming test scores for prospective students as necessary.
  • Manage applications for admissions to the College and other related functions, taking steps to prevent and resolve duplicate student records.
  • Collect, review, and verify incoming documents for completeness and accuracy, and scan/store documents according to established Federal, State, and College guidelines.
  • Handle correspondence (mail, email, phone), including creating written communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in admissions, registration, or an enrollment office at a college or university, including direct experience.
  • Proficient in using personal computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship.
