Clinical Research Nurse I

Join The US Oncology Network as a Clinical Research Nurse I and be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional cancer care.
Job Summary:This is an entry-level exempt position responsible for coordinating the screening, enrollment, and maintenance of patients on clinical trials. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and other providers to ensure protocol compliance, participate in the informed consent process, and provide patient education.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with physicians and other providers to screen potential patients for eligibility and enroll them on clinical trials.
- Coordinate patient care in compliance with protocol requirements, including dispensing investigational drug and providing patient teaching.
- Review patients for changes in condition, adverse events, and protocol compliance, and thoroughly document all findings.
- Assist with collection and maintenance of regulatory documents in accordance with US Oncology Research, Inc. (USOR) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and applicable regulations.
- Participate in required training and education of staff and patients.
- Graduate from an accredited program for nursing education required (BSN preferred).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
- Current BLS or ACLS certification required.
- OCN, SoCRA, or ACRP certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology.
- Experience in Microsoft Office required.
- Experience in clinical research preferred.
