We are currently seeking an Environmental Sustainability Leader to join our team. As a seasoned professional, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the preparation of federal and state environmental documentation for a diverse set of DOT/transportation clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in devising sustainable solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects. This role extends beyond project oversight, encompassing the leadership of diverse teams engaged in environmental permitting across a broad spectrum of clients and projects.

About the Role

  • Oversee technical reviews associated with natural, human, and cultural resource analyses related to NEPA/MEPA.
  • Coordinate with clients and manage environmental projects including technical sub consultants.
  • Drive business development activities including preparing scopes of work, fee estimates, and schedules.
  • Review environmental studies and work prepared by others.
  • Prepare environmental documentation and presentations.
  • Manage environmental scopes and budgets amongst a diverse range of technical resource groups.
  • Oversee the facilitation of stakeholder meetings, public workshops, and public hearings.

Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in environmental planning, urban planning, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of NEPA and MEPA as it relates to Transportation/DOT projects.
  • 8-11 years experience; 12+ years experience preferred; in environmental consulting or related field.
  • Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), LEED, and/or WELL certification a plus.
