Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Enterprise Engineering Programs team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the success of engineering projects and technical solution development. You will oversee the entire project life cycle, from strategic planning to execution and delivery, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Program Leadership: Lead the strategic planning and execution of technical programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  2. Goal Setting and Metrics: Establish measurable and realistic project goals and objectives. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess project progress and success.
  3. Project Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional engineering teams to successfully deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  4. Project Management: Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to delivery and manage dependencies throughout the project.
  5. Execution Excellence: Lead the project team in the effective and efficient execution of tasks. Implement project management best practices to ensure high quality and timely deliverables.
  6. Engineering Engagement: Support engineering managers in the CIO/CTO group by driving roadmap prioritization and execution, and facilitating tight collaboration.
  7. Communication: Foster clear communication channels among team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. Ensure that information flows smoothly between different teams and departments.
  8. Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee processes and practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality products or services. Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including cross-functional engineering teams, business leaders, and customers, to gather insights and feedback, fostering strong relationships and alignment.
  10. Post-Implementation Analysis: Conduct thorough post-implementation review to evaluate project outcomes against initial goals. Capture lessons learned and apply insights to future projects.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Implement a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and learning from past experiences. Evaluate processes and workflows to identify areas for optimization.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in technical program management in a SaaS/BtB environment with a track record of successful project deliveries and implementation
  • Strong cross-functional influence and leadership skills with experience in managing large cross-functional teams
  • Domain expertise in scalable enterprise cloud architecture, application integration, and core IT technology components in a SaaS environment; ITIL Framework, SaaS architecture, IT Security & EndPoint Mgmt
  • Expertise in using Atlassian Suite of Products including JIRA, Confluence etc to manage backlog and development progress
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data, trends, and user feedback to make informed decisions - proficiency with Lookers, Tableau, and/or Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering value to end-users and the business
  • Strategic thinking with a passion for innovation and technology
  • Strong work ethics and commitment to owning and driving the success of the project using well-defined metrics
