Position Overview
The Customer Care Specialist I role is an entry-level opportunity focused on delivering comprehensive written and verbal support to both internal and external customers, ensuring effective resolution on the first point of contact.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to fundamental inquiries from customers regarding billing, order status, and service validation.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Order Entry, Customer Care Management, and Billing, to enhance the customer experience.
- Utilize existing systems to authenticate customer identities efficiently.
- Resolve intricate customer issues by leveraging available resources and systems.
- Offer technical assistance and guidance on navigating the customer portal.
- Assess customer requests to generate Move Add Change orders as necessary.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication, aiming to resolve concerns during the initial interaction.
- Identify and document the root causes of customer issues through active listening and strategic questioning.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a contact center environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and the ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the telecommunications or technology sector.
