Position Overview:
  • Competitive starting salary of $79,800

  • Opportunities for regular travel within designated regions
  • Primarily field-based work with minimal office responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Execute onsite inspections and investigations within ICF facilities
  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed reports on identified deficiencies and violations
  • Confirm rectification of regulatory breaches in long-term care settings
  • Provide training and support to field investigators and other departmental teams
  • Occasionally participate in hearings or court proceedings as a witness
Required Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of professional standards in individual care
  • Expertise in conducting high-level investigations
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing long-term care
  • Proficient in regulatory compliance investigation techniques
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and regulations
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Competence in computer operations and report writing
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in navigating complex regulatory processes and procedures
