Job Summary

CME Printing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Print Estimator to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our commercial printing team, you will be responsible for estimating production costs for various printing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate production costs for printing projects, considering raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation.
  • Review historical estimates to determine new estimate costs.
  • Work with manufacturing to ensure projects can be produced in-house.
  • Engage sourcing for work that requires outside vendors.
  • Enter specifications into pricing systems/software to build pricing scenarios.
  • Make selections to best match customer delivery requirements and offer the best pricing options.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of offset estimating experience.
  • Strong understanding of print manufacturing and layouts for planning.
  • Firm understanding of offset, digital on-demand printing, large format, and other ancillary services.
