Job Title: Senior Estimating & Pricing Analyst

Job Summary:

Globe Composite Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimating & Pricing Analyst to support our business growth. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a high level of analytical insight into manufacturing, operational expenses, product pricing, and business unit profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of product manufacturing, staffing, material acquisition, and operating processes.
  • Estimate material and labor costs based on Request for Proposal (RFP) data requirements.
  • Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals.
  • Analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts.
  • Calculate production costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data.
  • Collect cost data from functional representatives and subcontractors.
  • Prepare cost reports and present results to management and customer representatives.
  • Work directly on the production floor with technicians to create and refine cost models.
  • Support risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal process.
  • Support Pricing & Estimating team initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team.
  • Understand the requirements for supplier price/cost analysis.
  • Interact with other functional areas to develop strategies in support of proposal requirements and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Aerospace/defense industry and business management experience.
  • FAR/DFARS regulations experience.
  • Working knowledge of material pricing techniques.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual who can handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business, and/or operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 4+ years of estimating and/or cost accounting experience.

Work Environment:

The majority of work is performed in a typical office environment with no major sources of discomfort.

Travel:

  • Occasional business travel may be required but out of the ordinary.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

To conform to U.S. Government export control regulations and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information restrictions, applicant must be a U.S citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorization from the U.S. Department of State or Department of Commerce.
