Job Title: Registered Dietitian Per Diem Position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team on a per diem basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical nutritional therapy and optimal healthcare to patients. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced dietitian to work with our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide medical nutritional therapy and optimal healthcare to patients.
- Screen and assign levels of nutritional risk based on hospital-established criteria.
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans for assigned patients.
- Provide nutrition education to patients and family members.
- Document patient progress in the electronic medical record.
- Continuously evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of medical nutritional therapy intervention.
- Participate in performance evaluation and improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible to sit for the Registered Dietitian Examination.
