Per Diem Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team at Jersey City Medical Center. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Post CTICU department.
Job Summary:The Per Diem Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Cardiac Post CTICU department.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
- ASN or Nursing Diploma.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- BLS upon hire and ACLS Certification within 6 months of start date.
- Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ICU nursing experience.
- CCRN.
