Job Title: Per Diem Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team at Jersey City Medical Center. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Room department.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. If you are a dedicated and detail-oriented nurse with a passion for delivering excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room department, including assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Requirements:
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
  • BLS upon hire and ACLS Certification within 6 months of start date
  • ASN or Nursing Diploma
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience
  • ER certifications
