Per Diem Registered Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team at Jersey City Medical Center. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families in the Emergency Room.
Job Summary:The Per Diem Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
- BLS upon hire and ACLS Certification within 6 months of start date.
- ASN or Nursing Diploma.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience.
- ER certifications.
Night Shift, Per Diem, 7p-7a. One week day shift per month, 2 weekend shifts per month and 1 minor and major holiday per year.
