About the Role:

MGM Resorts International is seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team at the Buffet at MGM Northfield Park. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring seamless service and exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: Supervise and motivate our culinary team to deliver outstanding results and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Optimize Operations: Streamline kitchen processes to maximize efficiency and productivity, ensuring seamless service and high-quality food production.
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure Quality: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, adhering to health and safety codes.
  • Develop Team: Foster a collaborative and productive kitchen environment, providing training and development opportunities for team members.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 2-4 years of kitchen management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Culinary Expertise: Strong culinary skills, with the ability to create innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
