Drilling Rig Operations Manager

Lighthouse Drilling, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Rig Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a three-to-five-person rig crew while safely operating drilling rig components.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of rig crew members, ensuring they are prepared to work at the scheduled time and performing duties safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Perform routine operating functions and troubleshooting on all equipment with direction from operation personnel and the client company representative.
- Drilling Operations: Operate the draw works and assess downhole conditions and well pressures.
- Safety and Training: Train and direct the crew on safety and job procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide operating reports to the Field Supervisor-Rigs or Toolpusher.
- Experience: Previous drilling experience on a Kelly drive rig is required.
- Education: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of basic mechanical functions, oilfield industry experience, and the ability to work well with and lead a team.
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift, move, or carry up to 100 pounds, regularly walk and climb stairs up to 15' high, and stay alert and attentive for a 12-hour tour.
