Position Overview

As a Rig Floorhand & Derrickhand, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of our drilling rigs. You will be responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks, including rig setup and teardown, equipment maintenance, and assisting with drilling operations.

• Participate in all phases of rig operations, including setting up, breaking down, and operating the rig for extended periods (up to 12+ hours per day).
• Perform essential tasks such as connecting and disconnecting drilling pipe, tubulars, and bits, while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Assist with mud-mixing operations, including monitoring and operating shakers, pumps, and chemical handling systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various rig components to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to housekeeping standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow established safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, driller, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of drilling equipment.
• Prior experience in the oilfield industry is preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Clean driving record.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• 6+ months of previous drilling rig floorhand experience.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions. You must be able to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
